DURABROADS and European Commission meet US Federal Highways Administration in Washington DC
Representatives from the DURABROADS consortium and the European Commission travelled to Washington DC to meet counterparts of the Federal Highway Administration at the end of March.
This meeting represents a true milestone for both organizations opening for the first time an official collaboration within the Framework of an EU co-funded Programme. The objective of the meeting was the elaboration of the roadmap identifying bridges between the EU project DURABROADS and other similar US initiatives in the sector.
American and European experts discussed during 2 days which aspects could benefit each other from future researches and tests. It is expected that collaboration will cover different aspects as from coming months once DURABROADS is more developed.
